Commemorate a pivotal moment in American history! Macon County Historian Randy East will read the Declaration of Independence to mark the 250th anniversary of its first public reading in 1776. A meaningful and historic event open to all.

Enjoy a free evening of live music under the stars with the Moonlight Knights at Key Park Bandstand. Food trucks open at 5 PM. Bring your chairs and friends for a great night out in Lafayette!

Come meet the everyday heroes who keep our community safe! Join us for a hands-on celebration featuring local Police, EMS, Firefighters, and Lineman crews. Enjoy interactive activities and photo opportunities with your favorite community helpers. Fun for the whole family! (Playhouse open 10am–6pm)
