Universal Event

FAQs

Weather & Safety

Most of our events are held rain or shine! In the event of severe weather, the safety of our attendees, vendors, and staff is our top priority. Because cancellation protocols vary depending on the venue and the type of event, we recommend checking the specific event page or contacting the event host directly for the most accurate and up-to-date weather policies.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, certain items are universally prohibited. These generally include firearms and weapons of any kind, illegal drugs, and outside alcohol. Please review the specific event guidelines before attending to ensure a smooth entry.

Parking & Transport

Parking arrangements and fees vary by event and location. While many of our community events offer free public parking nearby, larger festivals or specific downtown venues may utilize designated paid parking areas. We recommend checking the official event page closer to the date for a detailed parking map and pricing information.

Shuttle services are generally not provided for most of our standard events, as venues are typically accessible with ample nearby parking. However, for a few of our largest annual festivals, off-site parking with shuttle service may be arranged to help ease traffic. Please check the specific event details to see if shuttles will be operating.

Accessibility

Yes! We strive to make our events welcoming and accessible to everyone. The vast majority of our event venues are fully accessible for wheelchairs, mobility devices, and strollers. If an event is held in a more rustic outdoor location where the terrain might be challenging, it will be clearly noted on the event’s information page.

Trained service animals assisting guests with disabilities are always welcome at our events. However, for the safety, health, and comfort of all attendees and vendors, regular pets and emotional support animals are generally not permitted.

Food & Drink

To support our fantastic local food trucks and vendors, outside food, drinks, and large coolers are generally discouraged or prohibited. Most of our events feature a wide variety of delicious food and beverage options for purchase on-site! Exceptions are always made for baby food, formula, or specific dietary and medical needs.

Payments & Amenities

The majority of our event vendors, including food and merchandise booths, gladly accept both cash and major credit/debit cards. Please note that on-site ATMs are generally not available at our venues, so we highly recommend bringing a little cash just in case a specific vendor is cash-only or experiences card-reader connectivity issues.

Yes, all events are equipped with public restroom facilities, which may include indoor restrooms or well-maintained portable toilets and handwashing stations, depending on the venue.
